2011 Featured Speaker

Peter John Ross

The keynote speaker for 2011 is Peter John Ross, a self-taught filmmaker and author from Columbus, Ohio. Ross will share his insight into the art of independent filmmaking and will include the premier of two short films. A Q & A session will follow.

Ross has produced, edited, and directed several award winning films. His debut feature film Horrors of War has a worldwide distribution and was a screened at the first Colony Film Festival in 2006. Ross has written articles for Moviemaker and Videomaker Magazines, and has published his first book Tales from the Front Line of Indie Filmmaking. He is considered one of the all-time innovative leaders in the microcinema movement.
