Paul Awad and Kathryn OSullivan
Paul Awad is a professional director and cinematographer who left a television commercial career to pursue work in narrative films. Kathryn OSullivan has written dozens of works for the stage and screen.
In 2003, this independent filmmaking couple began collaborating on projects and their work has received recognition and awards at theatres and film festivals across the country.
Last years Colony Film Festival audience members may remember them from their short film Draculas Mother. Their latest feature project, The Fugue, is currently in post-production.
Paul teaches digital filmmaking and video production at The Art Institute of Washington. Kathryn is a theatre professor at Northern Virginia Community College and a member of The Dramatists Guild.
